Discover Michigan Skiing - During January, ski areas across the state team up with Michigan McDonald’s restaurants to offer an affordable introduction to the sport of skiing and snowboarding.
Discover Michigan Skiing includes a beginner lesson, ski or snowboard rental equipment and a beginner-area ski lift pass or cross-country trail pass all for just:

Although Discover Michigan Skiing is officially over for the 2015 winter, some ski areas are continuing it into February and others offer additional Learn-to-ski options. Check them out here:
Treetops Resortreetops Resort in Gaylord offers a Learn-to-Ski or Snowboard Club priced at just $59 for four weeks! In addition, every Monday Treetops offers Learn to Ski/Ride Monday, where everyone who purchases a lift ticket at the ticket window gets a free rental and a free group lesson.
Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville has a special Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month package for just $20! Plus, there are lift ticket specials and a Burton Ride Center for snowboarders. Check it out here.
Timber Ridge in Gobles offers a special Learn to Ski/Snowboard program every Sunday, Tuesday & Wednesday evening with lift, lesson & equipment included for one fabulous rate of $40. Learn more here. Nub's Nob in Harbor Springs offers a Learn to Ski with the Snow Pros program. which provides first-time skiers and riders (ages 8 and up) with a 90-minute lesson, rentals and use of the Nub's "BIG TIME" beginner area every day for only $45. Caberfae Peaks is offering a Family Fun Day each Sunday. The program includes a lesson, lift ticket and rental equipment for the family all for just $49 for a family of three. Additional family members are just $15. You will need a special coupon for this event. Download it here.
Pine Mountain Resort in Iron Mountain offers a 6-week ski and lessoni program through their local YMCA. Lesson, Lift and Rental for all sessions is just $170 for members or $180 for the general public.
Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire offers Super Sundays = Super Fun Days. Super Sundays is a learn to ski and ride program for the entire family at the new beginner area in Cedar River Village on the north side of Schuss Mountain. Your family can learn to ski together with a lesson skill station set-up on the Magic Carpet slope. Then after successfully conquering the skill stations, you will move on to the bigger lifts. Beginning Sunday, January 4 and each thereafter (excluding ) from 1-4:30p, Super Sundays cost only $25 per person and include rentals, lift ticket and a group lesson.
